This installation of ERes, the Electronic Reserve System, has been customized for Western Illinois University. Here are some local links of use:

ERes is best viewed using Netscape 2.0 or later, and administrative features in ERes require Netscape 3.0 or later; download the latest version.

We also recommend certain browser settings for best results. Under the "Options" pull-down menu in Netscape:

Set "Show Directory Buttons" off.
Under "General Preferences" / "Appearance", set the toolbar to display as text only, and set links so they are not underlined.

If you are not using Netscape, set options as appropriate to maximize the display area of your screen, and set links to be displayed without underlines.

A helper application or plug-in may be required to view ERes documents. These are some which may be useful, and they are all free:
